may be i'll do the stories a bit differently,  cause now they seem to short and unfinished =(

Tsar's room for fun - bear eats unwanted guests.

Ivan the Terrible, russian tsar, used to have a fureous temper and an intricate sence of humor. He also disliked uninvited guests and disobedient servants. Those, who caused tsar's anger were thrown into a room with a wild bear (beast was kept hungry for 3 days beforehand). Only the luckist survived - bear was tied, and the cord was long enough to rich all corners but one. Since it was dark in the room the victim couldn't see that. The tsar, on the contrary, set by the wall and could see the brutal scene through a special window.

Deadly thin? A corset story

When created, a corset was regarded as medical garment. In early 19 century women were thought as a weaker sex, corsets were used since they were 4. By the time they were teenagers such aid became nessesary - their bodies did became weak. Seen as good for morality and health, corset became an inalienable part of life. But desire to tight the laces as much as possible influenced health badly and to the end of the century corset were blamed for cancer, hysteria, melancholy, abortion, epilepsy, consumption, rib displacement, hunchback and curvature of spine. Plus corsets were criticized for titillating qualities, especialy when used in erotic literature.
