Today we discussed the new ideas that everyone had come up with since the last meeting and we decided to go after the BACKGROUND STORY theme and make the brochure with the true or false stories about objects in the museum as we all agreed that it was a good project for everyone's portfolio and that it was an expandable idea. Amey suggested the title TRUE/FALSE and we all liked it.
We have 3 outcomes - the brochure, postcards and a web banner. We need 5 so everyone has to think about the website and the 5th outcome. We discussed it for quite a long time but were stuck with ideas so we decided to research and brainstorm until Thursday. The problem with the website is that we don't want to give away the entire thing on the site so therefor a TRUE/FALSE game or competition doesn't really work. We want to make people curious and come to the museum and if they find all the answers on the site there is no reason for them to visit the museum.
Next meeting is on Thursday 10 Am in the college canteen and this is what we have to do until then:
* Maria, Amon and Åsa - show examples of artwork and layout as finished as possible for postcards and brochure and the true/false stories that goes with it. As soon as you have anything finished e-mail it or post it here on the Blog so that Amey can use it as,
* Amey, - will do the web banner, the website, the sub brand and help with the brochure but he cannot do anything until he gets images from us so don't forget that + its good for us illustrators to know what themes we all are doing so that we don't tell to similar stories and only do objects from one part of the museum etc.
* Åsa - will e-mail and call the museum to try and book a guided tour for us this week or weekend. I will post info here on the Blog about it as soon as I know.
