The mess of letters is supposed to be the story )
And I forgot, it should probably not just be the museum article nr but also what section the object is from, fashion, asia etc.

Hi Again!
Here is some pics and my first fake story - The Magical Chinese Wine wessel. I wanted to try and draw a bit quirky and silly to try and make this brochure different from other museum brochures, a bit more fun so that maybe both kids and grown ups could find it interesting, but I am not happy with the art work yet. Here is the The Magical Chinese Wine wessel story that I made up:
Li Bai, the emperor’s 15th son, murdered his brother, Prince Lin with a dagger for his wine wessel that was supposed to bring wealth and protect its owner from evil spirits.
Li Bai, the emperor’s 15th son, murdered his brother, Prince Lin with a dagger for his wine wessel that was supposed to bring wealth and protect its owner from evil spirits.
TRUE or FALSE?
CHARACTER/OBJECT SPEECH BUBBLE ( for web banner):
Did I kill my brother to be able to take over his magical wine wessel that would protect me from evil spirits and bring me wealth?
Or
Did Li Bai, the emperor’s 15th son, murdered his brother, Prince Lin with a dagger for his wine wessel that was supposed to bring wealth and protect its owner from evil spirits?

and this is true – The Karen peoples poisoned arrows or 1300-year-old poison
The poison that the Karen people of Burma used on their hunting arrows attacks the central nerve system and cause paralysis and convulsions when introduced to the blood stream and best of all; the poison is effective up to 1300 years!

( based on this:
CHARACTER/OBJECT SPEECH BUBBLE:

Or a more brutal fake version of 1300-year-old poison:
When Professor Albert Johnsson was find dead by his desk in London the Doctors did a horrible discovery. The ancient hunting arrows from Burma that Johnsson had been researching was after hundreds of years still poisonous and had attacked Johnssons nerve system through a deep cut on his right hand.
I will e-mail you the Word Document Amey. I tried to play around with lay out suggestion but I am very very bad with lay out so...I rather not touch that I think.
Any thoughts?

There is no museum article nr for the arrows so we should just make it up + they are only viewable by appointment.
ReplyDeleteHow should we do with the object page? Should the objects be hand-drawn or real photos or a mix or?
